After 14 years in a corporate career and having her first child Melissa Moog was inspired to create a service that would help new parents ease into a life with their new baby. Her motivation came from an overwhelming experience she had at the local baby store. Being a research queen she sifted through a ton of books, spent hundreds of hours on the internet and made frequent trips to the store. Additionally, since she was new to Portland and the first of her family to have a baby she had no one locally to help choose the best baby gear. So, after giving birth to Isabella and becoming a new mom she thought to create a full service consultancy for new and expectant parents with a focus on helping parents prepare for baby’s arrival and during the first year of life. Most importantly, she wanted to create a company where she could help parents find the best green baby products to protect our little ones and preserve our planet.
